2024 National Day Celebration in Taipei

Join the Republic of China in celebrating National Day at the Taipei Dome on 5 October 2024 (Sat.) at 18:00.

This grand event celebrates the ROC's birthday with an impressive lineup. Enjoy performances including the national anthem, cheerleading routines, and a special display featuring 113 models in sustainable fashion designs. A number of appearances by iconic music legends will top off the festivities, so get ready for a dazzling evening showcasing the unique spirit of the Republic of China.

This event is open to the public, but tickets are limited so don't forget to register!

The ticketing system will open 30 September 2024 (Mon.) at 12:00 p.m. Please visit 【udn售票網】to register for tickets.

    Free ticket registration opens on Monday, 30 September 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Visit the quick and convenient udn售票網 ticketing website to request tickets.

    Ticket Registration and Collection

    Online Ticket Registration:
    STEP1:Head to the UDN ticketing website(https://tickets.udnfunlife.com) and select Login/Register, located under Member Services. Registration is required to request tickets. Requests are limited to two tickets per udn account.
    To register for a new account, select the bottom left option in the login pop-up screen. After submitting the form, a confirmation email will be sent to the email provided. Please click the link in the email to complete registration.
    STEP2:After logging in, select the National Day Celebration under eventsand click "get free tickets and select seats" .
    STEP3:After selecting preferred seats, choose a ticketing method: e-Tickets or physical (paper) tickets .
    STEP4: Please confirm all information and press submit.

    Ticket Collection:
    1. E-tickets can be found in the udn official app under "My Tickets", located at the bottom right corner. Select the event to generate your QR code for entry.
    2. Physical (paper) tickets can be collected through the following convenience store kiosks: ibon at 7-Eleven, FamiPort at Family Mart, or Life-ET at Hi-Life. A fee of NT$30 applies.

  • Senior Ticket Raffle:

    1. Eligibility
      A number of tickets will be distributed to eligible seniors through a ticket raffle. To participate, seniors must meet the following requirements:
      1. Aged 65 and above
      2. Citizen of the Republic of China
      3. Has household registration in the Taiwan Area
      4. National ID lists birthyear as 1959 or earlier
    2. 2 Raffle Entry Deadline:
      Please mail completed entries to the address below by 25 September 2024: Administration office, Department of Information and Tourism (ATTN. National Day Senior Tickets), 3F Central Area, No. 1, City Hall Rd., Xinyi Dist., Taipei City 110204. Completed entries will be entered into a ticket raffle. Only one entry allowed per person. Completed entries must include:
      1. Documentation: Photocopy of National ID (front and back). Must be actual size, clear, and legible. For privacy, the last five digits of the ID number, spouse name, and parent name(s) may be redacted.
      2. Contact Information: A clearly written cell phone or home phone number must be included in the blank space of the photocopy (2.a) to allow for notification.
    3. Results and Notification
      1. Raffle Drawing: A live-streamed manual drawing will take place on 1 October 2024 (Tues.) at 10:00. 200 lucky seniors will be selected to receive two tickets each. An additional 200 individuals will be selected and put on a wait list.
      2. A list of winners and wait-listed individuals will be published on the official website by 16:00 on 1 October 2024. Winners will also be notified by phone. Winners who cannot be reached by 17:00 on 3 October 2024 (Thurs.) will be considered to have forfeited their tickets. All identifying personal information will be redacted.
      3. A list of individuals to be moved off the wait list will be posted on the official event website on 4 October 2024 (Fri.) at 10:00. These individuals will also be notified by phone. All identifying personal information will be redacted.
      4. Winners of senior tickets cannot transfer their eligibility or change any information provided on the original submission. No additional tickets will be granted for accompanying family or friends. Each winner will receive a maximum of two tickets.
    4. Ticket Collection
      1. Tickets must be picked up in person by raffle winners on the event day (5 October 2024) between 15:00–20:00. Winners must present their National ID card or NHI card with photo. Photocopies, digital copies, or other forms of identification will not be accepted. For security reasons, accompanying individuals must be present to register and show proof of identity.
      2. Ticket pick-up location will be announced alongside raffle/wait-list results on 1 October 2024 (Tues.) at 16:00.
    5. Please note
      1. The National Day celebration at Taipei Dome begins 18:00 on 5 October 2024. Doors open 16:00. Before entering the senior tickets raffle, please take a moment to assess whether your health permits you to fully participate in the event. This includes considering any conditions such as age, cardiovascular issues, or limited mobility. If you have any safety or health concerns, please reconsider your entry. All attendees must comply with any posted regulations. Offenders will be prohibited entry.
      2. By participating in the senior raffle, you agree to understand and comply with all requirements. Submitted photocopies of National IDs (front and back) must meet all specified criteria, and any provided contact number(s) must be complete and legible. When collecting tickets, winners must present their National ID or photo NHI card for verification. Any accompanying individual must register in person during ticket collection. Please be aware that incomplete information, falsification, or fraudulent use of another's identity will result in incomplete registration, and the organizers reserve the right to cancel eligibility in such cases.
      3. For the purposes of this event, the organizer will collect, process, and use submitted personal information of the raffle participants, including full name, contact number, address, and National ID number. The use of this data, including the usage time period, territory, recipients, and methods, will comply with all event regulations and the Personal Data Protection Act. Registration information for entries not selected during the raffle will be immediately destroyed following the drawing.
      4. The organizer reserves the right to review and modify the event as necessary. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the official event website.

  • A Secondary Viewing Area at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (Song Yan Ave. entrance off Guangfu S. Rd.)

    A secondary viewing area will be available on Song Yan Avenue, adjacent to the main event at Taipei Dome, from 18:00 to 21:00. The event will be live-streamed onto an outdoor screen. We invite you to join us in a vibrant community space to celebrate the Republic of China's birthday together.

Entry Regulations

  1. Admission begins at 16:00. One ticket is required per person. Event seating is assigned, and lost tickets will not be replaced. Please comply with all posted regulations and refrain from bringing any prohibited items. Violators will be denied entry.
  2. No entry will be permitted between 18:00 and 18:40. For late arrival or if you need to leave your seat during the event, please follow the guidelines provided by the organizers. Thank you for your cooperation.
  3. Emergency Evacuation Areas:
    1. L2: Emergency stairwells available on either side of the hallway.
    2. B1: Gates 2, 3, 4.
    3. B2: Gate 5. In case of emergency, please remain calm and follow staff instructions to exit the venue through the nearest exit.
  4. Smoking and the use of drugs, psychoactive substances, or any illegal substances are prohibited in the venue.
  5. Backpacks or handbags exceeding 40cm are prohibited. If rain is expected, please bring a light-colored, transparent poncho or an umbrella that can be fully stored in your bag.
  6. Due to space and safety concerns, children's strollers are not permitted inside the venue. The organizers are not responsible for strollers left outside.
  7. Animals and insects are not permitted within the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.
  8. For security purposes, parking at the Taipei Dome will be restricted. Only authorized personnel may enter or remain in the Taipei Dome parking lot. Those who do not comply will be subject to legal action as per relevant regulations. Please take public transportation if possible.
  9. Please mind your personal belongings throughout the event. The organizers are not responsible for any lost items.
  10. Anyone causing damage to venue equipment will be held financially and legally responsible.
  11. All seating is assigned. Ticket validation and entry points may vary based on seat number.
  12. During the performance, please silence your cell phone and speak quietly, when necessary, during the event.
  13. One ticket per person. Please keep tickets in a safe location. Lost, damaged, burned, or unidentifiable tickets will not be replaced or exchanged.
  14. Tickets are free and for personal use only. Resale or use for commercial purposes is prohibited. Resale of tickets will result in government action and fines, as per Article 10-1 of the Development of the Cultural and Creative Industries Act. To report ticket scalping, visit the Ministry of Culture's scalper reporting system at https://noscalper.moc.gov.tw/ or call 02-8521-1850.
  15. The event organizer reserves the right to interpret and make final decisions regarding all event performances and activities.

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being brought into the event:
  1. Firearms (including model or toy guns), ammunition, knives, and explosives.
  2. Hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to corrosive or radioactive substances.
  3. Drugs, harmful biological agents, infectious agents, and any other dangerous substances.
  4. Flammable or explosive materials, including but not limited to fuel, gas, alcohol, firecrackers, and pressurized canisters.
  5. Unidentified powders or liquids.
  6. Fragile or breakable items (e.g., glass bottles) and sharp objects (e.g., arrows, darts, scissors).
  7. Potential weapons, including bats, tools (e.g., hoes, chisels), long-handled items (including umbrellas), or any other items that could cause injury.
  8. Backpacks, handbags, or tripods (including selfie sticks) over 40cm. If rain is expected, please bring a light-colored, transparent poncho or an umbrella that can be fully stored in your bag.
  9. All non-alcoholic beverages, including water, in any packaging will undergo security screening. Beverages must be sampled on-site before entering the venue.
  10. Disruptive devices, such as whistles, horns/sirens (including air horns), laser pointers, or other items that may interfere with the event.
  11. Devices that may cause interference or pose a hazard, such as amplifying equipment, wireless remote-controlled toys, and radio equipment.
  12. Personal transportation devices, including electric scooters, bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates, are strictly prohibited within the venue. This restriction, however, does not apply to mobility aids and accessibility devices such as wheelchairs, canes, or children's strollers.
  13. Animals are not permitted within the venue, with the exception of service animals such as guide dogs, drug detection dogs, and explosive detection dogs.
  14. Please refrain from bringing items unrelated to the event that could disrupt safety or order, including banners, signs, leaflets, or megaphones. Materials promoting political campaigns, racial, or religious messages are not permitted on clothing, banners, signs, leaflets, flags, or other items.
  15. The use of private or individual aircraft is strictly prohibited, except for official photography authorized by the organizers. This restriction includes, but is not limited to, drones, balloons, remote-controlled aircraft, light sport aircraft, paragliders, and UAVs. Attendees are not permitted to bring, launch, land, approach, or hover any such devices around/within the event perimeter.
  16. Medical personnel, members of the media, and technical maintenance staff requiring any of the aforementioned items must submit them for a security check prior to entry.
  17. The organizer reserves the right to prohibit any item deemed potentially disruptive or threatening to the event.
  18. The organizer may implement necessary health and disease prevention measures to ensure the well-being of all attendees. These may include temperature checks or other follow-up procedures. Cooperation with event personnel in following these measures is appreciated.

MRT: Take the MRT Bannan Line (BL) to Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station and use exits 4 or 5.

The Taipei Dome, within the Taipei Cultural and Sports Park, is accessible via the MRT Bannan Line (BL) from Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station (BL 17, exits 4/5) or Taipei City Hall Station (BL 18, exit 1). The Bannan Line (BL) can be reached by transferring or taking an MRT shuttle to the Wenhu Line, Tamsui-Xinyi Line, Zhonghe-Xinlu Line, or Taoyuan Airport MRT Line.

    2. Participants who are wait listed should check the official event website on 4 October 2024 (Fri.) at 10:00 to confirm ticket availability. Those moved off the wait list will also be notified by phone.

Ticket Limit Per Person
Online Ticketing: Maximum 2 tickets per udn售票網 account.
※Accounts can only be used once to request tickets. An account used to request a single (1) ticket cannot request a second ticket at a later time.
Seat Selection
Online ticketing allows selection of ticket quantity and preferred seating. Attendees must comply with the assigned seating listed on tickets.
*Seats may not be exchanged or reserved.

Infants and Children
Children three and under may accompany ticketed adults but must sit on an adult's lap and cannot occupy a separate seat.
Children aged four and above require a ticket and must present relevant ID or verifying documentation. Staff will verify these documents. Entry will be denied to those without required ID/documentation or who are uncooperative.
This event does not provide storage for children's strollers and is not responsible for their safekeeping. Strollers are not permitted in the seating area to keep emergency evacuation routes clear.
Parents are asked to evaluate their children's health and development before planning to attend. If there are concerns, please prioritize your child's comfort and safety.
Wheelchair-Accessible Seating
Wheelchair-accessible seats and companion chairs are available on the ticketing website,udn售票網. Attendees must present official disability identification (身心障礙證明) to staff at entry.
